• Hero of Another Story: Assisted the Justice Squadron, the Sentinels, and VIPER fighting DEMON in Boston between 'Greatest Generation' and 'Patron of the Arts'
  • Word of God says this was the Demonflame Incident from the Champions Universe continuity, and he played the part that Blink did in the original write-up
• Instant Costume Change: Can -- and has -- done this to all TASK FORCE members. Ranger even has a codename for this maneuver (phonebooth)
• Minnesota Nice: Originally from Mankato.
• The Conscience: Ranger is often seen going to him for advice, both on situations concerning the team ('Operation Phoenix') and with more personal problems ('O Little Town')
• The Paladin: Kent is incorruptibly pure all through his time as a regular team member.
• White Magic: He can do amazing things... as long as he has God's permmission to do them.
